Hostel accommodation

PGUPS students are provided with comfortable rooms in student hostels.

Our hostels are situated in the historical heart of St. Petersburg. Students live in two-room apartments with a bathroom and a kitchen. Each room is designed for two or three people to live in. There are also storage accommodations and a laundry room.

Hostels are equipped with the Internet access. A sports ground is available for playing football, basketball and volleyball.

On the hostel’s ground floor, Russian Language Center is located where our foreign student can learn Russian language.

An application for a place in a hostel should be submitted by any student who wants to reside in a hostel. After the application is processed and approved, a student moves into a hostel and signs a residential lease agreement.

The following documents should be presented by a student to the hostel administration:

• Passport;
• A certificate from a dermatologist (the validity of the certificate is 1 month);
• Four photos (3×4).

In case a student is under eighteen years of age, the residential lease agreement can only be signed if there is a notarized consent-approval by one of the parents on the signing of the residential lease agreement and making payment for hostel accommodation. In case one a student under eighteen years of age is accompanied by one of the parents, consent-approval on the signing of the residential lease agreement and making payment for hostel accommodation is confirmed by a parent’s signature on the residential lease agreement with indication of their passport information.
