Graduates of our department work in the field of psychology, consulting, HR, at railway enterprises, law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, government agencies, research organizations, etc.

The department is known for its theoretical and applied research. It regularly organizes national and international conferences on topical issues of general, social, transport psychology.

Main work directions include:

• providing basic training for every PGUPS graduate;
• training students for applied, research, pedagogical, organizational work in the field of psychology;
• organizing 5 types of internships: educational internship, general professional internship, research and industrial internship, pedagogical internship, thesis internship;
• research work in the field of general psychology, social psychology, professional adaptation, psychological factors for ensuring the safety and reliability of human-machine systems, leadership and team building, etc.;

Here students study for a Bachelor’s degree in 37.03.01 Psychology, specialization Psychology.
